Grandparents Day is Sunday, Sept. 12th

Grandparents Day is Sunday, Sept. 12th. I never new there was a Grandparents day ! My Grandfather & Grandmother James were a great influence on me, f rom childhood to my teens. Sometimes when I have a doubt, I remember advice and comments from them, and it guides me through. What a holiday.

Well we are back.We have had a fantastic holiday,we have chilled out for 2 weeks.

We stayed at the Cinco Plazas which is situated at the top of a hill (not as steep as cardiac) behind Mulligans bar heading into the new town.The apartments are really clean and very well maintained,the pool and poolside were very clean and litter was cleaned daily.The staff were helpful on arrival and gave us a map of our apartments which was nice and easy to find,there are steps and ramps to all sections… Continue

Holiday May 14-28 2009 (Nr.19)

Monday I got confirmed that Playa Club had apartments available for May 14-28. Tuesday I got myself some tickets (Iberia: Schiphol Amsterdam - Madrid Barajas - Lanzarote and v.v.) Costs: € 343,-
I also transfered the deposit to the Sunlight Hoteles Group; now I'm waiting for the confirmation that they received the money.

After a small misunderstanding about the deposit and preferences everything is now confirmed.

Holiday June 13-17 2010 (Nr.21)

I had the choice between no holiday and an ultra short one. For a Lanzaholic like me not a difficult decision!

Sunday 13

I arrived after a delayed flight: at Schiphol they discovered a fuel leak! We took off almost 3 houres later than planned. I got picked up by Rafa at the airport (Canal Travel) and arrived at Playa Club. Dinner with Carmen at Emma's Cantina, as usual perfect. After that to the American Indian Cafe.

Holidays

Well last couple of days at work for me then we are heading back to Lanzarote.Its the first time staying at Cinco Plazas and we are really looking forward to it.I think it will offer us a little bit more for the family than we had before.We have seen loads of good reports on Cinco plazas as well as the odd one or two not so good,but that could apply to anything we are not all happy with the same things.We will hopefully be catching up with Keith and Debbie again during our 2nd week.

We have been going to Playa Blanca in Lanzarote for the last 10 years and I have to recommend this Chinese restaurant the waiter immi and the team will cater for your every whim, the food in this restaurant has to be the best Chinese food in Playa Blanca and you will not be disappointed I will guarantee the last meal for three was fantastic and we left very full and contented for less than 55 euro and

Getting nearer

OK its only about 6 weeks until our holiday and we hit sunny PDC with our son Eddie and his girlfriend.

Hoping to link up with Boo and Mark, the infamous JW (to celebrate the double and the useless season for the Oily rags from Merseyside ;) ) and hopefully some others.

I can now look at this website without her indoors moaning about getting 'holiday sick'

dr to be driving round in tiving in lanz and shoes

A while ago someone posted ainfo about what shoes to wear when driving in lanz as the police check can someone tell where it is or what the info was many thanks. Are sandals ok as I dont want to be driving round in trainies Thanks.
