Also yesterday went to La Graciosa for a visit. The sun is still shining but not as much - we have been getting some bad weather as well. It's possible I'm not going to Lanzarote in the spring, but in July! My sister's planning to go at that time and I'm tempted to join her, to "show her around".
For the rest: the dutch weather (rain) and temps (cold) are comparable to that of the UK.
I'm actually not looking forward to the Christmas season: the last 4, we were in and out the hospital, because of my fathers heart problems. Hopefully this year will be better.

Next week I hope to go to Normandy, France for a couple of days. Just a short, intermediate, small, extra holiday. I'm staying with a colleague, who has a second house over there. I've been there before and THE beaches are very impressive, especially if you realise what happend 64 years ago!

Also the works on the front have started and the traffic is chaos and you cannot drive along the front from the casino into the town and further down you can't get through either. which reminds me how are the works in Edinburgh for the Trams. I never thought that the money they are pouring into that is good value, anyway too late now.
The weather has been a bit mixed here over the last month with RAIN on a couple or 3 days. and been cloudy some days as well.
The cold is setting in as well, it was down to 20deg last night and is not up in the 30's as much during the day.
Did you see the pictures that were posted of our mini meet when Geraldine was over. Some terrible ones of me and of Rafa.

Glad you had a great time too that night. We got home early hours of Friday 5th September, as we had a night flight home. It was really good as we spent the whole day on the beach before going to to the airport.

Will be back in lanzarote in August/September 2009 but exact dates unknown as of yet.
