As others have said, most restaurants are child friendly and have colouring books for them to doodle on whilst waiting for food. A sticky lolly or 2 or 3, is usually given when you get the bill.

I usually book my flights a year + ahead as they are cheaper then. I think Thomson flights are up for July 2009. Where do you fly from? I got a price from Gatwick.
