Lanzarote information by people who know Lanzarote

Los Zocos Club, Costa Teguise

My sister in law has booked into this resort with her daughter and grandchildren.

Despite our numerous visits to the island we have been to Costa Teguise very rarely.

So could people tell me if this resort is ok and where you would recommend for them to eat, drink and play. Unlike me they prefer British places.

We stayed here a few years ago and had a great time. I assume they are going AI. I dont know how old the kids are but if they are pre teens they will have a ball as the day time entertainment is geared towards them. The meals are good especially dinner if they book into the big tent out front. The night time entrtainment in the main bar I dont about as we never went but it was jam packed every night(get there early to get a seat). If they want to go out at night there is plenty to do. Just a five minute walk up the road is The Lively Lady Showbar(if its still there) where they do great drag show. We went last year and it was really good family friendly fun night out. At the top of the road that runs up the side of the Zocos is Legends and Cactus Jacks where both do good entertainment at night. Across the road in the Los Cucharas centre is Popeyes where they do possibly the best breakfast on the island. Also the Aquapark is 10 minutes away by car or taxi..
